Visiting the Monterey area

Today, with nothing on the agenda, we simply went about visiting a number of locations in this area. We went out to the Cannery Row area of Monterey where we strolled through a number of the gift shops, candy shops, bead shops, and a used book store. We had lunch at a Thai restaurant across from the aquarium. We didn't go to the aquarium since admission is a rather steep $25/person.

We drove further down the road to Pacific Grove where we stopped and roamed about the beaches and rocks for a while.
