Low Tide Science Lesson

Today, tomorrow, and Thursday mornings offer this spring's lowest tides. The tide table says it was -3.5 ft. today and -4.2 ft. tomorrow. What this means in practical terms is that we are able to walk out 30-50 feet beyond what we normally get to see. All of that sea floor is exposed for our viewing, as well as for the gulls to pick off. Here are a few sea floor (and other) images from this morning.
